The role
At Serisolar, we believe that expertise, organisation and collaboration are essential to turn an energy project into tangible results.
To strengthen our Technical Department, we are looking for someone with a technical background – surveyor, technical specialist, industrial technician or equivalent qualification – who is ready to take an active role in developing proposals and managing projects.
This person will serve as an important link between the technical, sales and operations teams: they will analyse customer requirements, contribute to defining project solutions, assess their economic viability and support the various stages of each project, from quotation through to implementation.
We are looking for someone who combines technical accuracy, commercial awareness and organisational skills, with the aim of developing solutions that are effective for our customers and sustainable for the company.
What you will do
In your day-to-day work, you will have the opportunity to follow projects across different areas. In particular, you will:
- analyse customer requirements and identify the most appropriate technical solutions;
- prepare quotations, commercial proposals, cost estimates and technical reports;
- assess materials, activities and project costs;
- prepare, review and update bills of materials (BOMs);
- assess the financial viability of proposals and monitor their margins;
- provide technical support to the sales team in developing comprehensive and well-structured proposals;
- liaise with external sales representatives, agents and sales executives;
- monitor the progress of activities and projects;
- support project planning, helping to ensure compliance with schedules, budgets and quality standards;
- work with the team to manage technical, administrative and regulatory documentation relating to worksites;
- coordinate operational aspects related to installations, supplies, equipment, platforms and site logistics;
- collect and verify the documentation required to start, manage and complete projects;
- identify potential technical, organisational or financial issues and contribute to finding appropriate solutions.
The profile we are looking for
We would like to meet someone with:
- a qualification as a surveyor, technical specialist, industrial technician or equivalent technical education;
- the ability to read and interpret drawings, plans and technical documentation;
- good knowledge of standard IT tools and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
- confidence in using management software and project management tools;
- the ability to prepare quotations, cost estimates, cost analyses and bills of materials;
- accuracy, reliability and attention to detail;
- the ability to organise work independently, manage priorities and oversee several projects simultaneously;
- a collaborative approach when working with both technical and sales teams;
- good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
It will be a plus if you already have
The following will be considered an advantage:
- experience in technical departments, construction companies, plant engineering companies or organisations operating in the renewable energy sector;
- knowledge of administrative procedures and documentation related to worksite management;
- experience in the financial management of projects and margin control;
- knowledge of CAD, ERP software or dedicated project management platforms;
- knowledge of the energy, plant engineering, construction or photovoltaic sectors.
